Description
Following the fun of our last cosplay competition in 2019, we can’t wait to see the entries for this year’s competition as part of the Offaly Libraries Comic Con, June 12th 2021.
You can submit your entry online until June 5th with the winner announced on June 12th by our judges Team Emerald Cosplay and Inspire Cosplay. With prizes for all it doesn’t matter how experienced you are, whether you’re a superhero or villain, we want to see your look!

Team Emerald Cosplay
Returning to the Offaly Libraries Comic Con are Team Emerald cosplay. Em and Jay are an Irish cosplay couple who have been making costumes since 2017. They love the creative side of cosplay, travelling and are regular faces at conventions. They love sharing their work-in-progress and creations, supporting cosplayers of all abilities.
Inspire Cosplay
Nola from Inspire Cosplay had a "minor" obsession with the 90s show Xena Warrior Princess which first introduced her to cosplay in 2014. She fell in love with bringing powerful female characters to life, the wonderful social atmosphere of comic cons and, of course, spending too many hours sewing hems and sanding foam.
